This session is for women who 🌹Wish to understand and integrate the different layers of their experience of birth; not just the birth of their baby but also the birth of themselves as the MOTHER 🌹Be held in an non judgemental space 🌹Be seen as the ‘woman’ within the ‘mother’ 🌹Dive deep and receive the gifts of their journey In ancient cultures birth was viewed as a ‘rite of passage’ for women. This meant that the birth journey changed a woman and gave her the embodied wisdom, for the upbringing of the next generation and her own transition from a ‘maiden’ to a ‘mother’ (not only in the birth of her first baby). The woman was ‘received’ by her community this way. This part is missing from the birthing scene of our modern societies. In addition, taking birth in a medicalised environment and viewing birth only as a physical process of ‘extracting a baby out of its mother’s body’, is leaving ‘gaps’ (and traumas) in the PSYCHE of a woman. I come across a lot of women who are not quite clear what / why things happened the way they happened during their birth(s). I use my experience as a birth doula, a therapist and a mystic to support you in integrating the gifts of your journey. WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? A woman who has integrated her birth experience is taking the power of the gifts her journey has to offer. This makes her empowered rather than disempowered. Our society NEEDS mothers who are in their grounded POWER and embody feminine wisdom.
